Registration and Immunizations
Thank you for registering your child at Beaver Creek School! This page provides you with the information you need to provide the correct documentation and immunization records to our school office. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Register Your Child at BCS
To register your child in Beaver Creek School District for the first time, you will need:
- A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate
- Current immunization records (see below)
- Proof of residency
- Parents or guardians must provide child custody papers if both parents do not have equal rights. Otherwise, we will extend equal rights to both parents.
Preschool
To qualify for our preschool program, your child must be three years old by September 1 and fully potty trained. Please call the front office for more information.
Beaver Creek School’s preschool program offers children a caring and engaging early learning experience. We base placement first on age (four-year-olds or those entering kindergarten the following year) and then by the date children join our waitlist. We review the list throughout the year and each July. For more information or to join the waitlist, please don't hesitate to contact our office at (928) 567-4631.
Kindergarten & First Grade
Your child must be five years old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten and six years old before September 1 to enter first grade.
Open Enrollment
In accordance with our open enrollment policy, we do not admit out-of-district students if a classroom has 25 or more students or if a special program is at capacity. In this case, we will place students on a waiting list until a space opens. We require annual applications for open enrollment.
Immunization Requirements
Schools may not admit students without current immunizations (A.R.S. 15-843). Please visit the Arizona Department of Health Services to view the current immunization requirements for each grade level. Please review the current Governing Board Approved Policy on Immunizations of Students.
